8 questions a buyer asks before hiring, asked once each on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Five were about Louisville ("Best web design company for small businesses in Louisville, KY", "Who can build custom automations for a small business in Louisville, KY?") and three were wider.

Named instead
Louisville Geek came up most often, then DBS Interactive. The answers leaned on directories and lists (The Manifest, Krowdbase, DesignRush) where GVX had no profile or an out-of-date one.
The fixes, in order
- One verified Google Business Profile and a matching Bing Places listing (done Nov 3).
- Complete business details in the site's structured data: phone, service area, founding date.
- Short, plain answers on my own site to the two questions AI answered without me.
- Up-to-date profiles on the directories the answers cited.
Each fix gets a date, and each monthly re-run gets a row in the table above, including the months where nothing moves.
